The EFL and PFA have issued a joint statement following continued discussions over the weekend specifically relating to the issues facing clubs in League One and Two as a result of the coronavirus crisis, with one of the outcomes a plan to form a working group of six club captains or PFA delegates in order to “engage in dialogue in respect of players’ wages”, which could be deferred by up to 25 per cent for April.
